A River Of Music Fed By Many Streams

“There is a tidal river called the Tusket, that flows from
the heart of southern Nova Scotia to the Atlantic Ocean.  But more than just a river, its unending flow carries with it the echoes of all the different musical influences of the area, one of the first ever settled in Canada.

Celtic Maritime, Acadian (Cajun), Folk ,Country & Bluegrass music all have fertile roots along the Tusket River.  And these are the inspirational sources of Tusket today. The Tusket River is in my blood, for this is the area where my family settled more than 250 years ago.

So welcome to Tusket...a musical river fed by the rich

streams of Maritime musical history.”
